What is it?

This is a paid service, which is available for each object (site) individually. The cost depends on the complexity of the object and its location. For rough estimation of the cost of work, you can use BSCS Calculator. To be able to use this service, the User must have already bought Pilot Project and Detailed Design services (including Monitoring Passport) and developed his Project with the help thereof.

BSCS Structural Bearing Capacities Inspection Service is the only service within BSCS services that requires specialists’ presence at the site. As a part of the service, instrumental inspection of the building or facility is carried out. It is necessary to clarify dynamic and static characteristics of the site, such as natural frequencies and oscillations shapes, concrete strength etc.

Based on the results of this inspection a report is made. The report specifies the finite-element model developed in the framework of Detailed Design stage, during Monitoring Passport development. According to the specified model, boundary values of monitored parameters are adjusted in BSCS. This increases BSCS system reliability and reduces the number of false triggering.

Inspection report is attached to Monitoring Passport and can be used during periodic instrumental inspections of buildings and facilities during operation, in order to optimize the scope of work on periodic instrumental inspections with involvement of specialized organizations, as well as a starting point in the process of monitoring the state of bearing structures of the building.

How does it work?

After signing the contract, negotiating Technical Specification and terms of payment, BSCS specialists come to the site and take all the necessary measurements. After the measurement has been processed, correction of the finite element model and reissue of Monitoring Passport are made. Adjusted fin accordance with site inspection results, Monitoring Passport and finite element model, as well as inspection report, will be sent to the User in electronic form.
